The lighting was a little harsh but there were still some good photos to capture under the trees at this wonderful small waterfall in Colpoy’s Bay.
We did a tour of three waterfalls in the Hamilton area. These are Tiffany Falls, Sherman Falls and Albion Falls. We also stopped by Canterbury Falls and Devil’s Punchbowl, but it was hard to get good photos. A return trip will be necessary.
I haven’t been able to get a really good photo of Eugenia Falls yet. There is a big stone wall and some serious looking warning signs blocking good access to the top. I really want to try getting down to the base next year.
These photos were captured near a bridge over a river on Graham’s Hill Road. The road climbs the side of the Beaver Valley, and this river runs through the valley. This is just off the Bruce Trail, near the Falling Water Trail.
My objective was to find the two falls near Hoggs, but there was a huge snow bank where the parking was supposed to be. At least I can always count on Hoggs for a a good opportunity. There was quite a bit of water going over it today.
