The trillium display on Manitoulin Island was amazing. Large numbers of them were growing in the open at the side of the road. We didn’t have to get out of the car for some of our photos.

We had a beautiful clear sky for our crossing on the ‘The Big Canoe’. I got a little sunburned, but the views were spectacular.

I captured some amazing colours as the sun set over Chantry Island, just off the shore of Lake Huron near Southampton.
There was some action as the sun started heading down…
followed by some amazing colours that became richer as the sun continued to set…
